This section is dedicated to the equipment I use or recommend for playing volleyball in good conditions. Having the right gear can really make a difference in terms of comfort, safety, and performance.
Volleyball shoes
For me, volleyball shoes are the most important element: they must provide good grip on the floor, proper cushioning, and solid ankle support. Suitable shoes reduce the risk of injury and help you stay stable during landings and quick changes of direction.
Knee pads
Knee pads are essential, especially if you play a lot of defense and often dive to the ground. They protect your knees from impacts and allow you to go for difficult balls without hesitation. I choose knee pads that stay in place well but don’t restrict movement.
The ball
The ball also matters: for both training and matches, I try to use a good-quality ball with solid grip and a weight that meets official standards. This helps you get used to the same feel you’ll experience in competition.

Clothing
Finally, I pay attention to my outfit (shorts or leggings, comfortable training gear, breathable short- or long-sleeve t-shirts, and suitable socks), and sometimes accessories like ankle braces or tape if needed. All this equipment allows me to play with more confidence and focus on the game rather than discomfort.
